Unismart is the exclusive school outfitters to many schools in the county of Surrey. The company has retail outlets in Cobham (Head Office) and Ashtead. Both shops are in the main High Streets.

Unismart's owner, Sally Smith, ensures that the schools' wishes appertaining to uniform are constantly reviewed. Personal meetings with Headmasters and Headmistresses have enabled a personal relationship to exist between the relevant school and the Company.

Unismart has now decided to add online shopping as part of its services to its ever-growing list of customers. Unismart.co.uk now gives anyone the opportunity to buy items of school uniform, sportswear and certain fashion items here online within a safe environment.

Unlike the majority of online shopping sites, the customer can, if they wish, have direct contact with Unismart's trained staff or indeed, directly with the owner, Sally Smith. There is no need for an online purchaser to be frustrated or perplexed by buying online via Unismart. There are no automatic blocks on e-mail enquiries, the customer has immediacy of contact if they so wish, and will be confident in the knowledge that they can communicate with a real person.

Making A Purchase The website is designed to be as easy to use as possible. Browse through the store adding items to your shopping cart as you go. When you have selected all the items you want for now, click the Checkout button.

You will need to provide your name, address and credit card details on the order. All the information you provide us is transferred over a secure connection and is totally private. For more details about our privacy policy please see below.

Your card will not be debited until your order is ready for dispatch.

If you choose to pay by cheque, we are able to take your order over the phone at either of our branches, and we will dispatch your order when the cheque has been cleared. Please send cheques/postal orders, payable to Unismart Ltd., to Unismart Ltd., 5, Oakdene Parade, High Street, Cobham, Surrey. KT11 2LR. Please write your order number, name and address on the back of the cheque plus your card number.

Shipping And Handling Postage and packaging is calculated as part of your purchase, based on weight, the amount spent and speed of delivery (second class post or special delivery).

Please be aware these delivery prices are calculated based on current postage rates and are subject to change without notice. In the event your postage has been incorrectly calculated on the website, you will be notified directly before the items are dispatched.

Orders sent outside of the UK will be charged a flat rate of £40 at the time of purchase. Please be aware they may be an additional charge depending on weight and shipping location – in these cases, you will be contacted directly prior to dispatch. Overseas orders are normally delivered by DHL Courier and a signature will be required at the destination.

For security reasons we can only deliver to the cardholder/account holder's address. A signature is required as proof of receipt and the order can be tracked by phone and reference number.
Delivery Schedule We aim to deliver your order right away. We will normally despatch your order to you in 2-4 working days . Delivery is within 2-3 working days. If your order does not arrive within 15 working days, please contact us.
Back Orders Unismart holds most items in stock. If we are temporarily out of stock, we will back order for you. You will always be contacted by mail to phone to advise you when the order will be despatched.
Tax Charges Most items sold by Unismart are exclusive of VAT. For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added on all VATable items.
Credit Card Security All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee We are confident that you will be happy with your purchase. However, in the unlikely event that you are unsatisfied for any reason , please return said item for exchange or for the refund of the purchase price within 7 days. The item must be unworn and with labels still intact.

To clarify this point, unless the purchase is faulty, goods must be returned in a saleable condition. If we have made an error, your delivery charges will also be refunded to you.

When returning an item, please remember to include your name, address, and a telephone number inside the package. We will also need to know whether you want a replacement or a refund. You will be responsible for any returned goods until they reach our Head Office so please ensure you are in possession of proof of postage.

Privacy Policy Unismart will not disclose buyers' information that is collected at the time of ordering (or registering online) to any third parties without the customers' permission. We request information from the customer purely for use on our order form. This information is necessary for the purpose of carrying out the said orders and to improve our service based upon customer feedback.

The customer must provide contact information (such as name, e-mail, and delivery address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiry date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fulfil the customer's orders. If there is a problem processing an order, the information is used to contact the customer.

No marketing material will be sent to you by Unismart without first obtaining your written permission. You also have the option of making your intentions known to Unismart in respect of marketing material by ticking the relevant box that can be found on the order form.

Our company policy abides by the UK Data Protection Acts 1984 and 1988. Unismart uses the information you provide us with in various ways but will not collect any personal information about individuals except when specifically and knowingly provided by such individuals. Unismart declare that they may share non-personal summary information regarding our customers/sales/traffic etc. with associates, partners, or other third parties, but Unismart will not share any information to any third party whatsoever at the individual customer level.

While your individual information is protected as outlined above, we do, however, reserve the right to use aggregated, anonymous data about our users as a group.

Returns Policy We are confident that you will be happy with your purchase. However, in the unlikely event that you are totally unsatisfied for any reason , please return said item for exchange or for the refund of the purchase price within 7 days. To clarify this point, unless the purchase is faulty, goods must be returned in a saleable condition. If we have made an error, your delivery charges will also be refunded to you.

If the item is damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days of receipt by telephoning either of our retail outlets (numbers as shown above). The returned product should be sent to our Head Office, Unismart Ltd., 5, Oakdene Parade, High Street, Cobham, Surrey. KT11 2LR.

When returning an item, please remember to include your name, address, and a telephone number inside the package. We will also need to know whether you want a replacement or a refund. You will be responsible for any returned goods until they reach our Head Office so please ensure you are in possession of proof of postage.

To assist you, the customer, we would like to point out that should the package be lost in transit, you will be responsible for making a claim from Royal Mail. The compensation for despatches of £30 or less is currently limited to £26.00 Sterling. For despatches valued from £30 to £250 deliveries are sent recorded delivery and can be claimed at full value.

With regards to lost goods, if you have not received your item/s within 15 days of making an order, please contact Head Office on 01932 868233 and we will look into the matter and notify you accordingly.
